Decommissioning

Decommissioning security agreements are in place for all producing fields, in line with NSTA guidance, and are reviewed annually with our board Safety & Sustainability committee.

Ardmore Field completes scheduled turnaround ahead of schedule

The five-yearly planned maintenance shutdown at Ardmore finished six days early with no lost-time incidents, returning the field to full production capacity.

Kessock platform electrification project reaches 60% completion

Subsea cabling connecting Kessock to the onshore grid is now more than half laid, keeping the project on track for a 2027 switch-over.

Do I need offshore experience to apply?

No — many of our technicians and engineers join from onshore industries and complete offshore survival and medical training before their first rotation.

What is the rotation pattern offshore?

Most offshore roles work a two-weeks-on, three-weeks-off rotation, with travel arranged and paid for by Blue Marine.

Can I apply for more than one role?

Yes — submit a separate application for each role you're interested in so it reaches the right hiring manager.

Do you sponsor UK work visas?

We consider sponsorship for specialist engineering roles where a suitable UK candidate cannot be found.
